Emma Cunningham is the Assistant Secretary General with responsibility for International and EU Division in the Department of Finance.
She is Ireland’s representative on the EU’s Economic and Financial Committee and on the Eurogroup Working Group.
She was previously Assistant Secretary General with responsibility for Tax Policy Division and prior to that was Assistant Secretary General in the Banking Policy Division.
Emma holds a PhD (History), a M.Econ.SC (Policy Analysis) and a BA (History & Economics) and has completed postgraduate training with the Institute of Banking.
